Your Friend,
Lilly
a safe space to land
October 21, 2026
Writing is an anchor to my soul, a way of understanding my feelings, a processing of time and space.
I like to write with the windows open, with the wind combing through my mind. I like to write when it’s raining and gray so that my thoughts can simmer and release like the vapors on a hot cup of tea. But when I really like to write is when the seasons change; the cycles of death and life, rebirth and decay become like frosting on a cake. Something sweet, in the midst of something sweeter.
We explore each other; time feels complete in these moments.

. . .
These words came to me after some time of feeling flat and a sense of monotony. But when I write, there becomes a bridge of harmony with the earth and the universe. A sense of connection revitalizes me. We are one; phases pass us by, all the same, all the more different, never going backwards, only moving forward. Yet we meet ourselves in this change, time and time again.
Do what comes naturally to you, as an offering to life, to the flow, to the divine, to your peace, to love.
